What evangelism is God calling you to in your local ministry context? Is your community ready to embrace that vision?
Before we can have effective evangelism, we want to ensure our team is ready. Let’s work together to ensure we are clear about our ministry’s mission and goals. This workshop will give you activities to use with Vestry, leadership, and ministry teams to build a solid foundation of teamwork. Creating a cohesive team requires self-awareness and understanding and knowing your teammates’ gifts and skills so you can develop a common goal for ministry. You next want to communicate ministry hopes and dreams your team feels God is calling you to accomplish. Creating an authentic connection with those already involved in your community will make engaging with others about their stories of God and faith natural. Doing this foundational work will also increase excitement about the parish and God’s mission and help members be more articulate about the work that God has been doing within them.
